Buraka Som Sistema

Buraka Som Sistema built its sound in Portugal by blending techno rhythms with African zouk and kuduro, a mix credited with birthing the zouk bass and progressive kuduro styles. The project won an MTV Europe Music Award, stepped back after a farewell Lisbon show in 2016, then returned a decade later at NOS Alive.
