Francois K, the performing name of French DJ, producer, and label owner Francois Kevorkian, began his career in clubs including the Paradise Garage and Studio 54, later remixing artists from the Smiths to Kraftwerk and U2, work regarded as foundational to house music. He played a Boiler Room set in Johannesburg in 2016.
