High Contrast, the stage name of Welsh producer Lincoln Barrett, works within drum and bass, a genre in which his 2009 album Confidential later achieved BPI gold certification years after this recording. He appeared on Essential Mix in 2003, well ahead of that eventual breakthrough release.
